Condutor Stanley is on his way...

. My brother and I took Conductor Stanley to AWANA with us.

. Stanley got a Cubbies vest for helping Robert with his memory verse.

. Stanley and Robert at Wednesday morning ministry class.

. Stanley loves animal crackers just like Robert. :):)

. Stanley was the only kid allowed to attend 'Mom's Night Out'
. When the moms of Homeschool Village went Nightboxing...
. that's when you go Letterboxing at night, with no kids.

. It was extra challenging because they forgot a flashlight
. and had to use their cell phones for light...but they
. found two letterboxes and a really cool nature site to
. bring my brother and me back to in the daytime :):)
.
Go to atlasquest.com to find out about Letterboxing
.
We had a great week with Conductor Stanley, he left to go back to another family in North Carolina today. We'll miss him. I'm excited to get our new Stanley soon. I wonder what kind of Stanley he'll be and where we'll go next?

The 1st Flat Stanley arrives!!

He's here!! How cool... Conductor Stanley has arrived all the way from North Carolina.

I sent my Magician Stanley out last week and have heard that he is having a great time.
He has 26 homes to visit before he comes back.
I can't wait to see all the places he will go.

First we introduced Conductor Stanley to all the members of our family...even Max :):)

Then we went to our Homeschool Year Kickoff Church Picnic.

He got to meet lots of other homeschool kids and play at the park. We even did a science experiment while we were there, called catch a web, we captured spider webs onto black construction paper...he wasn't even afraid :)

Conductor Stanley always notices a train nearby :):)

Time to build a drum at
Lowe's build a drum workshop.

Then off to our friends house for a little computer time with the guys. They we're excited to meet Stanley.

We have a few more activities before the week is up, then he'll be heading to another family all the way back in North Carolina.

Hope you enjoyed the update on Conductor Stanley's Big Adventure!! :):)

My first day...

My name is Sean, I am 8 years old and I am new to blogging.
I live in the suburbs of Chicago but I was born in the farm country
of Illinois where we took care of a herd of 5oo Elk! Can you believe
that?? I have a little brother Robert who is 3 1/2 and my little
sister Grace who is 1 1/2 ~she's cute!
I am a 3rd grader and I homeschool, I really like it!

Today I read a cool book about an Indian boy named Claw Foot.
Then I acted out a play and I was the Indian Cheif Broken Wing.

My Flat Stanley Magician arrived in North Carolina today.
Cool isn't it? Can't wait to hear and see all the places he goes.

Today I made a Giant Lego Robot but I had to make him over
and over again because my sister kept breaking him...Ooowwy :(

Tomorrow I start swimming lessons!! I can't wait!!!
I'll be taking my visiting Conductor Flat Stanley with for sure.
Hope he knows how to swim :) lol

Well, time for me to go to bed now, after some cookies and milk :):):)

Hope to blog some more tomorrow, this was fun!!

Thanks for stopping by Sean's day by day.

Good Night!
